By using Ukraine by locals on the site or through the messenger bot, you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy.

The service

Ukraine by locals is a community where locals and travellers share tours, adventure trails, events, hospitality places, points of interest and stories. Tours and services are provided by guides and place owners; the service helps you find, book and arrange them.

Your profile

• You must be at least 16 years old.
• Use your real email and keep your password safe. You are responsible for actions taken from your profile.
• Your nickname must not impersonate another person or organisation.

Your contributions

• By publishing materials, photos, reviews and stories, you confirm you have the right to do so and allow Ukraine by locals to show them free of charge, keep them in the change history and translate them, and allow other members to edit them together.
• Published materials stay on the site after you delete your profile, signed with your nickname.
• Don't publish other people's personal data without consent, false information, advertising, spam, insults, calls to violence or illegal content.

Bookings

A booking is an arrangement between a guest and a guide or place owner. Terms, price and cancellation are set by the provider; the service records the arrangement and helps you communicate. The service doesn't provide the tours itself and isn't responsible for their quality, but it handles complaints and may restrict those who break arrangements.

Moderation

Edits go through community approval. We may hide content that breaks these terms and restrict or block a profile. You'll be notified about decisions on your content.

The messenger bot

The bot answers requests and, if you linked your account, acts on your behalf. Don't send it passwords, payment details or documents. You can delete everything the bot stores about you with the command “forget yes”.

Liability

Information in materials is created by members; we try to keep it accurate, but check what matters (schedules, prices, route safety) before you travel. The service is provided “as is”, and we may change its features.

Changes and contact
